Who is a chauffeur transfer to Silverstone for?

Most of our visitors fly in by helicopter, but a day at Silverstone rarely involves only one kind of journey. A chauffeur transfer is worth considering when:

• some of your party would rather travel by road than by air;
• you are bringing a larger group, such as a team, a client party or a hospitality guest list, and want everyone to arrive together;
• you want a car for the journey to the heliport or airfield at your end, or onward to a hotel or airport afterwards;
• you want a driver available for the whole day, not just a drop-off.

Why use a chauffeur on a race weekend?

The British Grand Prix brings very large crowds to Northamptonshire, and the roads around the circuit are busy as a result. Executive Global Travel describes the approach on race weekend as one of the great traffic jams in British sport, and plans its transfers to get ahead of it: a door-to-circuit drop-off, and a chauffeur ready to take you away before the post-race crush builds.

Can a chauffeur cover a business or hospitality day?

Yes. Silverstone hosts conferences, launches and corporate hospitality at The Wing, its marketing and events centre, and the same arrival question applies: how do guests get there on time and in good order? How do I book a chauffeur to Silverstone?

There are two ways to do it:

1. Ask Executive Global Travel directly. Use the quote form on their Silverstone page. They are available 24 hours a day and quote an all-inclusive price.
2. Ask us. Send an enquiry and mention that you would like a chauffeur as well. Tell us the date, the pick-up point and the number of passengers, and we will pass your request to them so the helicopter and road arrangements fit together.

Whichever you choose, give them the full journey as early as you can, especially for a race weekend, so that the right vehicle is available.

What happens to the helicopter part if the weather is poor?

Helicopter flights depend on the weather, and a chauffeur is a sensible fallback to keep in mind for an important day. If the flight is cancelled because of the weather, you pay nothing.
